Andrew told me that we were going to one of my favorite Teppanyaki places in town and to come over to his house once I was finished getting ready. When I called him to tell him I was on my way over, he said to come out to the backyard when I got there because he was fixing something. When I opened the backdoor slider, and turned the corner, he was waiting on one knee with a ring box in his hand. I was surprised and speechless. After I said YES, I looked around to see that he had tea light candles lit that spelt out Marry Me, along with stringing lights across the yard and a table set up with pictures of us and dinner from my favorite restaurant in town. Besides our wedding day, this day was truly one that I will remember for the rest of my life.

The bride’s top three tips for future brides:
1: Stay ahead on planning for your wedding. The day comes before you know it, and you don’t want to wait until the last minute to finish things up.
2: Consult with your Photographer or Caterer for additional planning help. They work these events often and have good insight to make your day extra special.
3: Being stressed and nervous is normal, the day before the Wedding make sure to get a good nights rest.
